Packages for KStars 3.8.0 are available in testing repository. You can view what’s new here.

If you have kosmos-testing respository enabled on your system, you can update as usual with:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Previous versions are still available in kosmos and kosmos-old repository. You can list all the available versions with:

apt list kstars -a

To install specific version:

sudo apt install <packagename>=<version>

Where <version> is the exact version string you found with previous apt list command.
